This renovation project of old printing offices into 32 luxurious apartments divided over 2 residences is located in the center of Antwerp.
A communal garden above the underground parking, which is exclusively accessible for the residents, creates a well-balanced space between the apartments and its green surroundings. On the left side a more intensive structure creates privacy around the wellness pavilion. It includes a covered and heated swimming pool, sauna, fitness and sun terrace.
To soften the presence of a garage building in the background of the garden, the open lawn has a “shell” shape, visually lowering the presence of that building. In combination with a strong structure of trees and hedges, the whole creates an intimate atmosphere.
