Despite the small plot, this city garden near the Belgian coast has a strong character. Between the brick paved terrace near the house and the greenhouse at the end of the garden, a central curving path out of crushed dolomite connects the two main areas of the garden. Three brick steps lead to the lower situated greenhouse terrace.
A pair of curving Boxwood hedges give a clear and fluent structure to the garden. Mixed borders consisting of Echinacea, verbena, salvia, etc. on both sides of the path create an intense flowering garden in terms of color, form and texture.
