In 1985, the company garden at the Belgian head offices for BMW lay beside a busy road. The design consisted of small garden areas (one of which had a formal screen of trees and the other of which was luxuriously planted), of a well-landscaped parking lot and of a large zone in the front between the building and the road.
That section created a front garden for the building, with balanced hedges, a few well-placed topiary trees and trees that extended and accentuated the long character of the decorated buildings.
