Landscape construction in progress: Stephex Stables, Wolvertem-Meise

In Wolvertem-Meise, a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant, you’ll find Stephex Stables. Stephex Stables is one of the world’s leading trading stables. A dynamic company best known for their horse trading, foodtrucks, horsestrucks, luxury motorhomes and 5* international equestrian event organization.

The 33-hectare area on which the equestrian complex is located has been redesigned by Wirtz International. The main challenge we encountered was integrating different functions in a unique flexible design in which aesthetics and functionality go hand-in-hand. The commercial garden, which has a more intimate atmosphere, features multi-stem trees, large groups of ornamental grasses, a brick terrace and an eye catching raised circular pond.

Alongside the main roads Linden trees are planted. The trees lend the roads their stately character and create a clear structure. The well-considered plant selections and high-value materials ensure a functional, harmonious whole in which the different functions are integrated.

We will keep you posted on the progress of the project.
